lessons and fast paced performances!
Welcome!
We're the Fire-on-the-Mountain Cloggers, from San
Antonio, Texas. We're devoted
to a dance steeped in American culture and history, and dedicated to preserving
the traditional aspects of clogging by combining
intricate footwork with lively bluegrass music.
Throughout the year Fire-on-the-Mountain Cloggers
perform at local exhibitions. April is a busy month filled with shows for
Fiesta and other events, while June features our favorite performance of the
year—the Texas Folklife Festival. This outstanding event has been a
highpoint for us, ever since our first performance there in 1983. Click here for exciting moments of TexasFolklife Festival.
