Learn to Clog
Power Tap!
Percussive Dance! New names for
the popular art form known as clog dancing.
Fire on the Mountain Cloggers will offer introductory dance lessons on
Tuesdays starting February 12th. The classes will be 7:00 PM until
8:00 PM and will include step instruction as well as figures.
 Classes are held each Tuesday at the Harmony Hills
Cabana Club, 339 Fantasia, in north central San Antonio. Directions:
Find Loop 410 and Blanco Road intersection. Go north on Blanco (head outside
410). Go 1.7 miles and turn right on Patricia. Turn left on Reverie Lane and
left on Fantasia. Clubhouse will be on your right.
People
with two left feet are welcome and no partner is necessary. Linda Carolan, Certified
Clogging Instructor, has taught dance workshops nationally and
internationally.
Clog dancing is a lot of fun. No previous
experience is necessary. You don't have to invest in shoes or taps to try it!
 Come see if you like clogging! Try our
"Beginner Lessons" for aspiring dancers. Can you count to 3? Then
you will have no problem with these easy and fun routines. Wear comfortable
clothing and shoes that will slide.
There
will also be opportunities to demonstrate your clogging prowess by
participating in some fun shows coming up later.
